About Us
Over 20 years experience using QuickBooks products, I've acquired solid knowledge by analyzing, creating, and maintaining multiple versions of QuickBooks and Intuit products.
In 1990, after completing my B.S. Degree in Business Administration and Accounting at Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, MO, I worked in public accounting. My first year was in auditing with Kraft, Miles, & Tatum, LLC in Poplar Bluff, MO.
After a move to Cape Girardeau, I worked as Office Manager for Universal Physique Fitness Center until going to work for a busy CPA, Carl Smith, in Jackson, MO.
I moved back to Poplar Bluff, MO and purchased a restaurant, Laura’s Family Café in 1995. From 1995 to 2000, my family and I created a successful, attractive little café. The business was profitable, and I chose to sell in 2000 when I relocated to Saint Jacob, IL.
Saint Jacob, IL is where I currently reside. In 2001, I went to work for Kurt’s Carstar Collision Center, in Maryville, IL as an Accountant. For the past four years I worked for TravelCenters of America, Troy, IL as the Site Accountant.
In February I chose to pursue a career in providing QuickBooks Training, Consulting, Payroll, and Bookkeeping services, with an emphasis in Training and Consulting. After obtaining my QuickBooks Certification, I am even more confident that my knowledge and experience is a desired commodity.
